Follow Me Printing - The school has also introduced the follow me printing solution which allows pupils and staff to print documents from any location and to able to pick them up from any printer located at any site in James Brindley Schools, the system will also allow us to make savings against original budgets as the new system is significantly cheaper to run on an annual basis and we have no maintenence to manage.

CLASSDOJO - Class Dojo is an online behavior management system intended to foster positive student behaviors and classroom culture. Students earn ‘Dojo Points’ based on their classroom conduct. Teachers use Class Dojo to keep parents up to date on student progress and classroom happenings. Class Dojo is completely free for users.
Class Dojo’s primary goal is to encourage positive student behaviors and to provide a means for teachers and parents to communicate frequently and effectively about student development. According to the company, the product’s approach is less about ‘classroom management’ and more about ‘classroom culture’, in other words, encouraging the positive instead of discouraging the negative.

Our School History

James Brindley School Administration Centre Birmingham

We teach across 11 sites including teaching centres and hospitals in Birmingham. We also provide support for children finding it difficult to access education outside of the home, due to both physical or mental health related reasons. We find children and young people respond best when they feel comfortable in their surroundings, which is why staff work hard to ensure that every pupil in our care receives the best possible education in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
